Message	can't be sure about the ECU but think they are the same... mind there is a difference between early and late Series ecu's (8 & 16 bit). just having fuel being pumped isn't going to keep the car going, you need injectors and spark as well. why did you replace the pump, relay, PTU and ECU (I assume main and not fuel ecu) to start with? and if so why not the fuel ecu as well? it sounds more like a short/damaged harness to me...
